The IGP briefed him about the initiatives taken in Punjab Police Department, saying that the process of video monitoring of all SHOs had been launched with the installation of CCTV cameras in the offices of all Station House Officers (SHOs) across the province.
He said that the SHOs had been directed to remain in their offices for minimum of two hours a day for the public.

Saleemi added that with the help of the cameras, monitoring would be conducted from the CPO.
On the occasion, DIG IT Zulfiqar Hameed and DIG Discipline and Inspection Ahsan Younas were present.
They briefed Asif in detail regarding Front Desk, 8787 IGP Complaint Cell, Police Service Centres and specially about the working of Khidmat counters and provision of relief to the public through these projects.
