Police arrest alleged rapist in DG Khan

The victim worked at an auto repair shop where the accused sexually assaulted him for more than a month

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A man, who allegedly sexually assaulted a boy for more than a month, has been arrested by police in Dera Ghazi Khan.

Sakhi Sarwar Police Station SHO Nasir Hussain Qadri told The Express Tribune that accused Nasrullah used to sexually abuse 12-year-old S*, who worked at an auto repair shop in the area.

He disclosed that the culprit used to dope the victim before committing the offence. He added that after the boy narrated the incident to his family, police registered a case against Nasrullah on complaint of the victim’s mother. Hussain highlighted that the police tried to arrest him but the accused managed to escape.

However, the SHO said that they traced the suspect and arrested him after a successful raid. He added that the accused’s DNA will be tested and he will be awarded stern punishment for committing such a crime.

Earlier, police apprehended two suspects involved in sexually assaulting a boy in Faisalabad.

Police said that a complaint was registered at Factory Area police station by the father of K*, a resident of Jhang Road, in which he stated that his 11-year-old son used to go to a seminary in the area.

He said that accused Qari Muhammad Usman and his accomplices Usama and Shehzad had been sexually abusing his son for the past one month.

He stated that the culprits also filmed the heinous act and threatened the victim with dire consequences if he told anyone about the incident.
