KARACHI:
In a bid to capitalise on the growing traffic between Europe and Asia, Emirates airline announced on Thursday that it would launch daily flights to three new destinations in Europe – Geneva, Copenhagen and St Petersburg – from its global hub in Dubai. At a press conference, Emirates officials highlighted the fact that passengers from Pakistan to these destinations will have higher baggage allowances than usual, with a 30kg limit for economy, 40kg for business and 50kg for first-class passengers. The airline will be flying some of its largest planes, including the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 777, to these destinations to allow for more cargo.
