ATC expresses anger over absence of police official

Separately, a special ATC on Friday, rejected accused Azhar Ahsan’s bail plea and accused Tariq Mehmood’s request for B-class. The hearing of Intizar murder case was held in Karachi Central Jail’s anti-terrorism complex. The court announcing the verdict on the pleas of accused Ahsan and Mehmood rejected bail plea filed by Ahsan and plea for B-class by Mehmood. Accused Mehmood pleaded that he should be given B-class as he is a literate person on which the court remarked that the accused does not need B-class. Court adjourned hearing till November 27. According to police, eight anti-car lifting cell (ACLC) personnel have been arrested in Intizar murder case. Accused Tariq Raheem, nominated in the case, has been granted bail by the Supreme Court.
