ISLAMABAD: Rejecting or bullying those who are less well-off or different produces situations in which nobody wins, Argentine Ambassador Ivan Ivanissevich said talking to children at International Students Day.

“Making an effort to understand one another, sharing games or helping one another will always make our lives so much more enjoyable, may develop our creativity and ensure a better future for everybody,” Ambassador Ivanissevich said talking to the little guests at Argentine embassy.

The embassy of Argentina has organised a colourful and grand show to celebrate the International Students Day. Students of various schools, including the special children, took part in the celebrations.

The event was originally planned at Argentina Park, however due to rain it was moved to the Argentine embassy.

Artists from Rafi Peer Theatre came from Lahore to put up a show aimed at promoting respect for diversity and difference.

Islamabad Mayor Anser Aziz assured he would do his best to support and sponsor others to come forward and help children especially those who need our special attention and care.

United Nations also supported the event. DNA
