Graduation: NUST rector stresses study of social sciences

NUST School of Social Sciences (S3H) 2018 students were conferred degrees in the disciplines of Economics, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Clinical Psychology and Development Studies at its undergraduate and postgraduate convocation held at the university’s main campus in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Speaking to the cheering graduates as chief guest, Pakistani conglomerate CEO Tariq Sayeed Saigol, said it is a moment of celebration and triumph for NUST, teachers, graduates and parents who performed at their optimum and achieved great success today.

Lauding the leadership role of NUST for creating the best minds, addressing socio-economic challenges and making contribution for the technological advancement in Pakistan, Saigol urged the graduates to utilize their professional potential for the human development in the country.

NUST Rector Lieutenant General Retd Naweed Zaman, in his address said the young and promising graduates of School of Social Sciences’ are vital power for the societal and national developments of Pakistan.
