Points out that businessmen of Italy consider Pakistan as an emerging market

LAHORE: Pakistan is one of the best countries around the globe and the picture being painted about it has nothing to do with reality, said Italian businessman Massimiliano Pasqualini. Addressing a gathering at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), he said Pakistan has a bright future and is the best destination for doing business. He said that businessmen of both countries should hold a sector-wise study to evolve a comprehensive joint strategy for the purpose of enhancing the volume of bilateral trade. “Pakistan’s private sector has massive potential on the economic front.” The private sector must create strongest liaison with its Italian counterpart to extract huge benefits from Italian expertise, the businessman emphasised. He pointed out that businessmen of Italy consider Pakistan as an emerging market and are interested in joint ventures and investment in numerous economic sectors.
