Befitting response given to Pakistan, India home minister says

A belligerent Rajnath Singh claimed on Friday that India 'may' have attacked Pakistani targets to 'avenge the killing' of a Border Security Force (BSF) soldier, Times of India reported.

The Indian home minister made the remarks at a small Muzaffarnagar gathering. He was there to unveil a statue of iconic freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

BSF sources "confirmed" inflicting "significant" loss of life on the Pakistani side, the Indian publication claimed. The alleged killing prompted an alert along the Line of Control and international border with the Indian army chief delivering a pugnacious statement calling for 'another surgical strike'.

Ar | 6 years ago | Reply Gov of both sides have failed miserably to resolve all the issues. They should be ashamed of themselves and they are both responsible for killings on both sides of the border. Peace loving people should stand up and take over from these crazy fanatics!
Rick | 6 years ago | Reply Just like before an imaginary surgical strike ... stop day dreaming and killing people ... sit down on a table discuss and resolve issues. Do it for the next generation and not think about next elections.
