Imran reached Abu Dhabi, the country's capital city, where he was received by Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed at the Abu Dhabi airport upon his arrival.
A wide-range of issues in terms of the bilateral relations between the two countries was discussed during the meeting.
Moreover, both sides expressed their satisfaction over the current level of mutual cooperation and vowed to bolster ties.
The convergence of views on issues of regional and global importance between the two countries was also stressed in the high-level huddle.

Ways to further strengthen economic cooperation and investment was also touched upon in the meeting.

The UAE delegation comprised Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al- Nahyan, National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed al-Nahyan, , Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al-Nahyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

The UAE is the second country he is visiting after taking the reins as the country’s premiership.
The prime minister has been accompanied by foreign minister, finance minister, information minister and adviser for commerce.
