Three suspects abducted victim after she left home for tuition

A Haryana girl noted for academic excellence was allegedly gang-raped by 12 men on Thursday, Times of India reported.

The girl was abducted by three college students after she left home for tuition in Mahendragarh's Kanina. The suspects took the Rewari girl to a secluded spot after drugging her where they raped her along with their accomplices.

They later 'dumped' her back where she had been abducted from. The suspects then reached the victim's parent's to let them know that their daughter was lying unconscious at a bus stop.

The girl was taken to a health facility where doctors confirmed rape. An FIR lodged at Rewari police station has been forwarded to one in Kanina. Kanina police have returned the complaint saying the incident did not transpire in their jurisdiction. No arrests have been made.
