Using the new rights, the board members would be responsible for monitoring and launching inspections at all medical stores in their respective districts to ensure that quality medicines were being sold to the people of Balochistan.

The board has been given full power to launch strict action against any medical store found selling fake and counterfeit medicines to innocent citizens and seal them.

Earlier, the Quality Control Board was facing many hurdles in pursuing cases against the medical mafia involved in selling fake medicines.
