Reckless driving: Truck runs over four of a family

FAISALABAD: Four members of a family, including two minor girls, were killed while a boy sustained multiple injuries in a road accident here on Sunday. Police said the family was on its way from Faisalabad towards Satiana on a motorcycle and were hit by a truck on Satiana Road. The couple and their two daughters died on the spot while their minor son sustained serious injuries. Rescue 1122 official shifted the bodies and the injured boy to a hospital in Faisalabad. Eyewitnesses said the speeding truck was trying to overtake a vehicle and hit the bike, and fled from the crime scene immediately. The names of the deceased have not been traced so far.
