Viral Scandal: UAF principal denies video was shot on campus

FAISALABAD:

Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan Vice Chancellor (VC) University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has stated that video footage of a female boarding student is bogus.  In a statement issued on Friday, the VC stated that the video footage of the girl shown by some electronic channels was not shot on the university premises.

“Yes, the girl is a UAF student but this video was shot off campus or hostel premises and it is being used to malign the image of the university,” he said. The video shows a female student drinking alcohol and stripping.

University officials have initiated an inquiry into the incident and suspended one security officer.

The VC vowed that as soon as the inquiry was completed, the media would be informed about the results.

“The issue was brought to my notice 10 days ago," he said.
