QUETTA: Former Balochistan chief minister Aslam Raisani has warned all political parties’ leaders to refrain from doing politics in the name of his martyred brother Siraj Raisani.

“I warn all to refrain from doing politics in the name of Sarawan House,” said Aslam Raisani while commenting on the Mastung suicide attack in which his younger brother Siraj was among the 150 people killed.

The former CM said, “We don’t need a certificate from anyone over the sacrifices rendered by my tribe. I strictly warn all elements against using my martyred brother’s name to shine their politics.”
He said people want to gain sympathies for election by using my brother’s martyrdom as a tool, but “I warn them stay away from my house and tribe”.

On rumours of developing rifts within the family after the death of Siraj, Aslam said, “Those who want to achieve their election goals are spreading false information regarding rifts in our family.”
Aslam said, “We know our friends and enemies, and soon we will reveal the details of the Mastung incident.”

He said that his family always did politics the right way following rules and customs. “We know better how to defend our family and tribe,” he added.
