“The opposition leader has consulted only PkMAP and National Party over the matter and not the other opposition parties,” said Bizenjo while addressing a press conference late on Tuesday night.

He said that the leadership of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M), Awami National Party and BNP-Awami have filed a petition in the Balochistan High Court and have also written a letter to the former Balochistan Assembly speaker in this regard.
CM Bizenjo said that the members nominated by the opposition leader in the parliamentary committee were the same who enjoyed four-and-a-half years as coalition partners in the government.
“Sardar Akhtar Mengal and Maulana Abdul Wasey have raised objections for not being consulted in selecting the candidates for the caretaker CM,” he added.
“Our members of the parliamentary committee, which is scheduled to meet on Wednesday (today), will not participate,” Bizenjo told the news conference.

Earlier, a six-member parliamentary committee had been formed to choose the caretaker chief minister of Balochistan.
The parliamentary body consisted of three members – Tahir Mehmood, Sarfaraz Domki and Amanullah Notezai –from the government’s side, while the opposition’s side included former chief ministers Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and Sanaullah Zehri, and PkMAP MPA Agha Liaquat.
Six sittings between Bizenjo and Ziaratwal failed in yielding any name.
