Balochistan is being ignored due to political differences: CM Bizenjo
Bizenjo handed a cheque of Rs10 million to Quetta Press Club President Razaur Rehman for journalists’ development.
Slamming the federal government and central leadership of PML-N for doing nothing to control the law and order situation, Bizenjo said, “Our law enforcement agencies, especially Pakistan Army, played an effective role in restoring peace in the province. Our forces have sacrificed their precious lives in order to protect the people of Balochistan.”
“It is Nawaz Sharif’s habit to malign the Pakistan Army as he is repeating his vicious rhetoric against the armed forces since 1994,” he added.
PML-N attitude led to creation of BAP: CM Bizenjo
On the financial plight of the province, the Balochistan CM said, “Though we are financially weak, still the federal government didn’t release a single penny for Balochistan.”
He said that the biased behaviour of the federal government would worsen the economic plight of Balochistan as within the next two to three years there wouldn’t be enough money for development projects.
“Indeed the bureaucracy has been creating hurdles in government affairs, but they can’t anymore as we introduced a tracking file system which won’t let them cause delay in our development projects,” said Bizenjo, adding that last year Rs40 billion lapsed because of our predecessors’ negligence and inefficiency.
Quetta will be a safe city, says CM Bizenjo
On fencing along the Pak-Afghan border, the Balochistan CM said, “The initiative of fencing the border will definitely halt terrorist movement in Balochistan as everybody knows that India has dozens of counsels in Afghanistan and they have been providing safe havens to terrorists attacking our people.”
On caretaker government set-up in Balochistan, Bizenjo said, “Discussions are under way for setting up a caretaker government in Balochistan.”
