LAHORE: While continuing its crackdown on quacks as per the directions of the Supreme Court, the Punjab Healthcare Commission closed down 50 businesses of quacks in the city on Wednesday. The PHC teams visited 116 treatment centres in different parts of the city and closed down 50 businesses of quacks. These ‘practitioners’ were categorised as 33 general quacks, six bone-setters and four fake dentists. Also, three laboratories were sealed.  The quacks were providing different sorts of illegal treatment.
