Robbery: Police arrest 2 gang members

KHANEWAL: Police officials have arrested the ring leader and a member of a gang of dacoits and recovered stolen goods from their possession on Monday. District Police Officer (DPO) Waqar Abbasi said that the gang ring leader Ijaz and member Yousuf were both residents of Sheikhupura. Abbasi said the men had been arrested during a police encounter but four of their accomplices were still at large. The gang had stolen a total of Rs200,000, gold ornaments and an ultrasound machine from the clinic of Dr Rafi in Khanewal.  Cash, gold ornaments and the ultrasound machine have been recovered and raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining members.
