QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has accused India and Afghanistan of providing training to the suicide bombers, who blew themselves up in Quetta on Tuesday, martyring at least seven Balochistan Constabulary personnel and injuring 15 others, including eight Frontier Corps soldiers.

“We have been treating Afghan refugees as our guests and brothers for decades but they respond with hate and unrest in Pakistan,” said the chief minister during his visit to the Civil Hospital, Quetta on Thursday.

Terrorists killing innocent people for just Rs500: CM

Bizenjo had paid a visit to the hospital to inquire after the health of the personnel injured in the triple suicide attacks. He was flanked by Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Sarfraz Bugti and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muazzam Jah Ansari.
During the visit, CM Bizenjo announced compensation of Rs3 million for the heirs of each martyr and Rs500,000 each for the injured personnel.

Bizenjo said, “Terrorists carrying out attacks in our country are being funded and trained by Indian and Afghan governments.”
He lauded the efforts of the law enforcement agencies in purging terrorist networks, being operated from Afghanistan, from Balochistan and said war against terrorists would continue till the “last remaining terrorist is eliminated”.

CM Bizenjo provides much-needed boost to police force

The chief minister directed the IGP to submit a report regarding the triple suicide attacks on the Balochistan Constabulary truck.

He said, “Such cowardly attacks cannot dent the morale of our brave armed forces’ personnel.”
He said that time had come for the repatriation of Afghan refugees from Balochistan’s soil as the people were now tired of providing shelter to the Afghan refugees and could not bear their burden anymore.

On Pak-Afghan border fencing, Bizenjo said, “Movement of terrorists will come to a halt upon completion of the fencing.”

Bizenjo vows credible security after Quetta atrocity

He said that it seemed that terrorists from Afghanistan had entered the province illegally from ways through the mountains, adding that fencing of the border would be done on a vast area on the side of the mountain in order to secure the province from terrorist activities.

Bizenjo said, “Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav confessed to the involvement of his country in terror activities in the province.”

He also said that work on Quetta Safe City project was underway as land had been purchased for police headquarters.
