Lioness gives birth to three cubs

LAHORE: An African breed lioness gave birth to three cubs in Lahore Zoo Safari on Wednesday. The total number of lions has reached 24 after the birth of the new cubs. While speaking to Express News, Lahore Zoo Safari Deputy Director Shafqat Chaudhry said Kajal, the lioness has given birth to three cubs and all of them are healthy.” He added, “There were 21 lions and lionesses in Lahore Zoo Safari and with the birth of the three cubs, the number has risen to 24.” He pointed out that there were five Royal Bengal Tigers in the zoo safari and of them one was a rare breed White Tiger.
