A Senate panel has expressed concerns over delays in verifying and deploying an e-governance software in the civic body. The Senate Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication on Tuesday were told that it will take a further two to three months to completely verify 18 different modules of the e-services software developed by the LMK Resources Pakistan Ltd. FIA told the committee that a lack of capacity and resistance to change by the CDA is one of the main problems causing the delay. CDA Member Nadeem Malik told the committee that focal persons for verifying the software modules have been notified.
