According to the sources, Chahdri Ashfaq was on his way back home from his private homeopathic clinic when unknown armed assailants riding on motor bike opened firing at him. As a result he sustained multiple wounds on his upper torso and died on the spot.
Body of the victim was shifted to the Qadir Hospital, Hub for autopsy.
Deceased belonged to Faislabad city of Punjab and was serving for last 23 years in TTC and was a permanent resident of Akhtar Mohammad road, Quetta.
Initial investigations suggested that it is the case of target killing while further investigations are underway.
