ISLAMABAD:
Police traced a total of 15 blind murder cases during 2017, collected vital evidences against 23 culprits involved in this crime and submitted the challans of these cases into concerned courts, a police source said on Wednesday. He said that SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani assigned special task to heads of all police stations of Islamabad to resolve murder cases and provide relief to the families of victims. Kiani, in his directions, said that there was no alternative to life, however, it was the responsibility of police to trace the killers of innocent people and help provide justice to the bereaved families. Following the efforts to trace blind murders, police succeeded to trace 15 blind murder cases and arrested a total of 23 alleged killers after collecting forensic as well as other vital evidences. All available resources and latest investigation techniques were used to resolve these cases.
