Radd-ul-Fassad: Three apprehended, large cache of arms seized in FATA, SWA

SMGs, 30 bore and 9mm pistols, 12 bore repeaters and rifles were among the sized weapons

Security forces launched a snap-check operation in Darra Adam Khel area of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) on Monday, apprehending three persons and impounding the car they were travelling on which was loaded with arms and ammunition.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), paramilitary forces recovered SMGs, 30 bore and 9mm pistols, 12 bore repeaters and rifles.

Rifles of different calibres as well as ammunition of mixed calibre were also recovered.

Separately, South Waziristan Agency (SWA) security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Boya Ghundakai area and seized 12.7mm guns and RPG7s along with ammunition boxes were recovered.



On November 5,  FC Balochistan and intelligence agencies carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Channah Nullah and Chatthar areas near Dera Murad Jamali  as a part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
