Tunisian Ambassador: “we must focus on diversification of the basket of tradable goods”

FAISALABAD: The 9th Pakistan-Tunisia Ministerial Conference will be held in Tunisia, during which Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) is expected to be inked, revealed Tunisian Ambassador Adel Al-Alarbi.

Ambassador calls for increased trade between Pakistan, Tunisia

Addressing members of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), he said that the long-awaited PTA will give a quantum jump to bilateral trade between the two brotherly countries. He said that after the last successful session of the joint ministerial commission, Tunisian and Pakistani authorities are engaged in negotiations to finalise modalities of the agreement. Alarbi stressed, “we must focus on diversification of the basket of tradable goods.”
