ACE ordered registration of cases against the accused

SARGODHA: The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) police have registered a case against an instructor of Government Technical Training Institute (GTTI) for destroying official records.

The ACE officials said GTTI Principal Masood Anwar, in his application to ACE Director Asim Raza, stated that Trade Instructor Mazhar Hussain had destroyed office record. After an inquiry the accused was found guilty and the ACE director ordered registration of a case against him.

In another case, the ACE booked Bhera Municipal Committee Chief Officer Tariq Gujjar and Chairman Muhammad Saleem over corruption charges. Officials said complainant Sheikh Mumtaz stated in his application that the accused were involved in embezzlement of Rs2 million that were provided for celebration of Spring Festival 2017 at Bhera.
