Palestinian students to participate in Eid events

LAHORE:

Around 300 Palestinian students studying under Alkhidmat's support programme would participate in Eidul Azha activities, including sacrificial rituals and a barbecue event. A separate Eid dinner has also been arranged for 100 Palestinian students in Lahore.

Meanwhile, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has completed preparations for its nationwide "Qurbani Fi Sabeelillah" campaign across 13 organisational regions, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, ahead of Eidul Azha.

A central control room has been established at the organisation's head office to monitor sacrificial operations across the country. Speaking during a visit to the control room, Alkhidmat Secretary General Syed Waqar Jafri said the organisation had allocated Rs1.29 billion for the project aimed at supporting orphans, widows, persons with disabilities and other deserving families.
