Lit up: CDA installs 2,000 led lights

Conventional streetlights are being replaced

Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman CDA Sheikh Anser Aziz has said that Street Light Directorate of Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad is working round the clock.

Streetlights installed at major avenues as well as within the sectors are being lit up. Conventional streetlights are being replaced with modern LED lights so that Islamabad could be made city of lights.

Aziz expressed these views during a meeting held at CDA Headquarters. The meeting reviewed three months progress of street light division and was attended by the senior officers of concerned formations.

The mayor was briefed that more than 2,000 LED lights have been installed on Islamabad Expressway APP
