Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's 'Lag Ja Gale' will have you falling in love

Sunjay Dutt is coming back with a bang in his upcoming movie Bhoomi which marks Omung Kumar’s third successful project after  Mary Kom and Sarabjit. Following an intense trailer, the film’s music is gaining incredible attention.

The second song of this action thriller is out and it’s bound to make you fall in love. Composed by Sachin Jigar and in the soulful voice of maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, this tune is a moving rendition devoted to lovers.

The first impression that everyone seems to have, just by the name of this track, is that it is a re-make of the legendary Lata Mangeshkar’s evergreen ballad.



Yet, it’s nothing like that. With a mix of modern and traditional instruments, Lag Ja Gale fits in perfectly with today’s music style.

The lyricist Priya Saraiya has done an amazing job at stringing together the words for this soothing melody as the lyrics literally bleed love.



The picturesque shots around the Taj Mahal, paired with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s soulful aura allow the melodious tune to really tug at your heart-strings.

The upcoming movie stars Sanjay Dutt, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sidhant Gupta. It is set to hit the screens on September 22, 2017.
