Actor Aina Asif recently trended on Instagram after a video of her speaking on the Chand Raat special show hosted by Imran Ashraf went viral.

Aina is known for her remarkable talent, having risen to fame at a young age by taking on serious, challenging, and emotionally heavy roles. Her dramas, including Mayi Ri, which addresses child marriage, and Judwaa, where she played a dual role, were particularly well-received.

Appearing as a guest on Ashraf’s show, Aina opened up about the difficult experiences she faced on set with senior actors.

She revealed that whenever she spoke, senior actors would give her strange looks, making her feel uncomfortable—even though she knew she hadn’t said anything unusual. “I feel like everyone is constantly criticising you,” she explained.

Aina also shared that during intense crying or screaming scenes, senior actors would disrupt her, often interrupting her lines.

She elaborated: "It’s my scene, it’s important. I have to cry or scream. They would get up and leave. Or they’d whisper to each other in close proximity, or start joking with the director."

She added that they often copied her moves and pretended to forget their lines just as she was about to speak. "At first, it used to make me angry, but now I just say, let it go," she said.

Aina stated that she no longer feels stressed because she has become accustomed to such behavior.

Ashraf praised her on the show, calling her one of Pakistan’s biggest heroines. “We used to think of her as just a little girl,” he said when introducing her.

“Now she sits in the chair next to us or the one after that,” he added, acknowledging her growth and success in the industry.
