Model and influencer Sofia Richie welcomes second child
She shares the update on Instagram alongside a touching photo of her daughter holding the newborn

Model and influencer Sofia Richie has welcomed her second child, sharing the news with fans in a heartfelt social media post that quickly drew attention online. The daughter of music legend Lionel Richie announced that her son, Henry Cecil Grainge, was born on March 18.
She shared the update on Instagram alongside a touching photo of her daughter holding the newborn. The caption read: “Henry Cecil Grainge 03/18/26 loves of my life”.
Richie, who married British-American record executive Elliot Grainge in 2023, is already a mother to daughter Eloise. With the arrival of their son, the couple’s family has now grown to four.
The pair’s relationship goes back years, as they were introduced through their fathers. Lionel Richie and Grainge’s father, a well-known figure in the music business, have shared a long-standing friendship, which eventually brought the couple together.
Grainge now serves as chairman and CEO of Atlantic Music Group, while Richie has built a strong presence in fashion and modeling, becoming a recognised face for major brands in recent years. Expanding her work beyond modeling, she also launched her own fashion label, SRG Atelier, last year.
Soon after the announcement, Richie’s Instagram post was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and figures from the entertainment industry. Many welcomed the newborn and shared their excitement for the growing family.
Richie also made a small but meaningful update to her Instagram bio, changing it to “Eloise and Henry’s mama,” reflecting her new role as a mother of two.
While the couple tends to keep their personal life private, they occasionally share glimpses of family moments with their followers. This latest post was one such moment, giving fans a closer look at their life beyond the spotlight.
For many followers, the update marked a joyful milestone, with warm wishes continuing to pour in for the family’s newest addition.
