Police say bus was travelling to Lahore from Islamabad

SHEIKHUPURA: Three people were killed while 28 suffered injuries when a bus collided with a trailer on Motorway near Kot Abdul Malik Interchange on Wednesday.

A police official said the bus was travelling to Lahore from Islamabad. He added the incident occurred when the bus tried to overtake another vehicle.

As a result, three passengers died on the spot while 28 others received injuries. Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to the DHQ Hospital and Mayo Hospital, Lahore.
