Bootlegger held in capital with liquor consignment

At least 54 bottles of various types and brands of liquor also recovered from his vehicle

ISLAMABAD: Police have arrested a bootlegger with a large liquor consignment. Officials said that the suspect Muhammad Khalil, was arrested in F-6/2 while transporting a liquor consignment. Police said 54 bottles of various types and brands of liquor were recovered from his vehicle. The action was taken by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of the capital police. An FIR has been registered against the suspect under the prohibition order at Kohsar Police Station. Police said the suspect could possibly lead them to more suspects.
