SBI invites Qatari firms to invest in various sectors

Consul General of Qatar acknowledged long lasting friendly relations between Qatar, Pakistan

KARACHI: The Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) has invited Qatari companies to look in to business opportunities in agriculture, food processing and hospitality sectors in the province.

Talking to the Consul General of Qatar in Karachi Mishal Mohammad A A Al-Ansari, SBI Chairperson Naheed Memon said that the two countries should promote their trade relations.

The meeting in which the two representatives discussed various investment opportunities was held at the SBI office. She said that the government of Sindh is offering numerous incentives and is ready to facilitate the potential investors from Qatar.

SBI chairperson expressed her willingness to meet Qatari businessmen to further discuss investment opportunities.

On this occasion, Consul General of Qatar acknowledged the long lasting friendly relations between Qatar and Pakistan and wished to strengthen these relations.
