The Punjab government announced financial assistance of Rs800,000 for the heirs of those died in the incident of a falling chair lift in Murree.

It is worth mentioning that the incident of the falling chair lift occurred within the limits of Lora Police Station in Haveliyan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Those who died in the incident belonged to Rawalpindi or Islamabad.
