LAHORE: Traffic police chief officer has suspended the warden who kicked a vehicle near Chowk Yateem Khana.

According to the details, the driver fled the vehicle when a team of customs intelligence stopped him and asked for documents. On information, a team of dolphin and traffic wardens stopped the vehicle and ordered the suspect to step out.

The suspect did not comply and misbehaved which let the warden kick his vehicle. Chief Officer Rai Ijaz suspended the warden for his misconduct. Later on, police officials arrested the suspect and shifted him to Nawan Kot. The driver was identified as Mazhar.

Lahore police spokesperson said that they had called the customs officials after arresting the suspect and taking the vehicle in custody. The custom officials refused to initiate any legal action saying that according to their laws they could not take police action against non-custom vehicle apprehension.
