
This was said by Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana while addressing a seminar organised by the National Accountability Bureau on ‘Corruption Preventive Measures’. The event was held at Multan Arts Council on Sunday. Multan NAB Director-General Atiqur Rehman, Commissioner Bilal Butt and other officials were present on the occasion.
NAB working on proactive anti-corruption strategy
The governor said the corruption prevention was more necessary in public departments than other areas. He said, “The government has zero tolerance policy against corruption and it would not be accepted at any level.” He added anti-corruption laws needed to be amended for improvement.
