Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan on Tuesday condemned the killings of two youngsters in Budgam District of Indian Occupied Kashmir by soldiers.

He also condemned the Indian forces for their use of brutal force against students in Srinagar and attacks on nomadic families by Hindu extremists. The AJK president issued these remarks while speaking to a delegation led by All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) AJK chapter chief Syed Faiz Naqashbandi.

Khan said that India wanted to intimidate the youth and students who were demanding liberty and rights to self-determination. This is why, he said, India was targeting educational campuses to harass and persecute unarmed students.

“Kashmiri youth will not be cowed down by such cowardly attacks. They are strong and would not relent until their rights are fully respected and protected,” the president said

The people of AJK, Khan said, express their solidarity with their brothers and sisters in IOK and would continue to extend their moral, political and diplomatic support to them.
