Sihala Search Operation: Two detained as arms, wine recovered

ISLAMABAD: Police detained two suspects and recovered weapons and wine during a search operation in Sihala on Wednesday. As part of the National Action Plan (NAP), officials of the Islamabad Police, Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in various parts of Sihala on Wednesday. They combed through Nara Syedan, GI Khakhran, Ari Syedan and surrounding areas, a police spokesman said.  They checked 280 houses, searched 430 people. During the operation, they nabbed two suspects. Officials also recovered three 30 bore pistols, one 9mm pistol, five 12 bore, one 7 MM gun and 11 bottles of wine from them. Further investigations are underway.
