Punjab police chief Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera was the chief guest at the event where AIG Training Usman Khattak and other senior police officers were also present.
As many as 330 female police recruits, including 318 officials of the Punjab police and 12 officials from the FIA, graduated at the parade. They performed skill shows before the IGP which included march past and shooting at fire-range. They received a eight-month long training, including a two-month specialised combat course. At least five ladies whose performance was best during different training sessions were awarded shields and cash prizes during passing out parade.
A police darbar was organised at Qila Gujar Singh Police Lines, where the IGP lauded the services of policemen in ensuring security.
