LAHORE: A man was shot dead while another received injuries after a brawl in a parking lot in Mustafa Town on Saturday. Police said the victim, Jamil Ahmad Qadri, had an exchange of harsh words with some suspects on parking last night. Afterwards, 10 suspects, six of them identified as Pervaiz Jutt, Arshad Jutt, Javed Jutt, Mehboob Alam, Amir Hamza and Ali Javed, carrying weapons intercepted the victim. After abusing him, they opened indiscriminate fire at him, injuring Jamil and another man named Mashooq Ali. They were shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced Jamil dead on arrival. The victim ran an auction house. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s brother and arrested three of the suspects Pervaiz, Arshad and Javed.
