For literati: Five-day book fair begins at Expo Centre

Punjab Higher Education Minister Syed Raza Ali Gillani inaugurated the book fair and visited different stalls

LAHORE: A five-day Lahore International Book Fair (LIBF) 2017 began at the Expo Centre on Thursday, where 275 publishers, book sellers and government departments have set up stalls.

The fair, which will conclude on February 6, has been organised by the Lahore International Book Fair Trust in collaboration with the Pakistan Publishers and Booksellers Association.

Punjab Higher Education Minister Syed Raza Ali Gillani inaugurated the book fair and visited different stalls.

Commending the presence of youth, especially students, at the book fair, the minister said that books would help broaden the spectrum of intellect of budding minds by giving them new ideas and vision.
