Scentsation: An Italian perfume comes to town

An Italian scent called Attimo by Salvatore Ferragamo is now in Karachi.

An Italian scent called Attimo by Salvatore Ferragamo is now in Karachi. It was launched with a small event hosted by Beaute Pakistan International at Cafe Flo in Karachi.

Talking to The Express Tribune, Frieha Altaf of Catwalk Productions, who managed the event, said: “It’s a high-end Italian brand that has come to town. It defines the concept of super elegance.”

According to a press statement released by the brand, the product expresses the core of Salvatore Ferragamo’s values: innate elegance, glamour, refined seduction, Italian style.

“The Attimo bottle is a curvy flacon, created by renowned designer Sylvie de France. Its slightly asymmetrical form is embellished with a gold strip with ‘Attimo’ written in red. At the base, the Salvatore Ferragamo logo gleams in red,” the statement said.

The event was complemented by a small fashion show in which models, adorned gowns by Sadaf Malaterre each holding the perfume bottle, promoted the brand.

Spotted at the event were celebrities and socialites like Ayesha Omer, Anoushay Ashraf, Mathira, Yousuf Bashir Qureshi, Deepak Perwani, Ayesha Hashwani, Nadia Hussain, Amin Guljee, Shehla Chatoor, Saba Ansari, Maheen Khan, Shamyl, Umer Sayeed, Maria Wasti, model Fauzia and Ayaz Anees.

Expressing the feel of a good perfume, Altaf said: “A perfume is about an experience, a good perfume gives you the feeling of being somewhere. You associate yourself with some place in particular.”

Beaute Pakistan International, that has launched the perfume in Pakistan, is an exclusive distributor of globally renowned brands of perfumes, handbags, luggage, and watches in Pakistan. Its vast brand portfolio comprises brands like Bvlagari, Versace, Burberry, Elizabeth Arden, John Richmond, Guess, Armani, DKNY, Fossil and Nixon, the press release added.
