Police Meeting: Strategies to counter crime reviewed

LAHORE: To review the ways crime was being dealt with and performance of personnel, a meeting of Model Town police division was held on Wednesday. While speaking about the strategy of countering criminal activities, DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf told the Muhafiz Squad personnel to patrol their designated point more frequently. He said raids against proclaimed offenders must be conducted on a daily basis. Moreover, he directed Kahna ASP Shahbaz Elahi and Ichhra DSP Muhammad Ibrahim to improve their performance in controlling criminal activities. He also announced a cash prize and CC-II for the SHO of Shadman police.
