As part of the initiative, he raided different spots along with the officers of labour department and child protection department. At least three cases were registered against brick kiln owners under Child Labor and Kiln Act. The assistant commissioner said forced child labour cases were found mostly in the areas of Vehari Road, Shujaabad Road and Bandbosan road. He added during inspection, more than ten brick kilns were found where children were being forced to work.

He maintained more than 50 children were shifted to child protection centre after being rescued from brick kilns.
