Revenue: President stresses on expanding tax base 

President Mamnoon said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was a game changer for Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain said that the government needs to increase tax revenue in order to raise the standard of living in the country, adding that the business community needed to cooperate in achieving the development goal. He said this while talking to a delegation of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), led by its president Khalid Iqbal Malik. President Mamnoon said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was a game changer for Pakistan as it would trigger many developmental projects and create business and employment opportunities.
