LAHORE: Two students of the University of Lahore died while another was injured in a road accident in Nawab Town on Tuesday. Police said the three students were travelling in a car on Raiwind Road when the fatal accident took place.

Woman, daughter killed for honour in Quetta

The victims were identified as Saad Shahbaz, Mobeen and Uzma Gul, all first-year students at the University of Lahore. Sub-Inspector Nadeem said the accident took place near Valencia Town as the driver lost control of the vehicle when a stray animal came in front of the car.

Fatal Accident: Three of a family killed   

He believed the driver was probably speeding when he lost control. The car overturned and the victims were severely injured. They were shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced Saad and Mobeen dead on arrival. The female student was discharged after treatment.

Luminite | 8 years ago | Reply Recently,this type of car accident also took place near Governor House,Lahore.Lahore is a highly populated city,but the roads of the city are narrow unlike Islamabad and Karachi,and most of the times the signals are free.Punjab Government needs to work on traffic issues in Lahore besides maintaining bridges.
