Quoting the family members, police officials said that two of the robbers entered the house while two stayed outside.

The robbers held the family members hostage at gunpoint and looted jewellery and cash, including foreign currency, before leaving.

Saudabad SHO Muhammad Ali said that the two security guards, who were on duty at Hashmi’s residence, were busy having lunch at the rooftop when the incident took place. The officer added that a case has been registered.
