Coming together: Week-long music conference begins tomorrow

LAHORE: A week-long All Pakistan Music Conference-2016 will start from September 19, APMC general secretary Ghazala Irfan said Sheema Kirmani would give a lecture and perform on the occasion.

She said the festival would include contests among students. “They will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in music. They will be tested on their vocals and their skill on various instruments. She said singers from various gharanas (classical music families) across the country would perform on the occasion.
