Public health: Polio vaccination drive to start from Sept 26

BAHAWALPUR: As many as 1,344 teams have been constituted by the Health Department to administer polio vaccine to 597,965 children in a three-day inoculation drive across Bahawalpur. The drive is set to start on September 26.

Health EDO Shahid Khaleeq told a meeting on Sunday that 1,062 teams would make door-to-door visits in five tehsils. He said 150 teams had been deputed to vaccinate children at public hospitals and 114 teams would vaccinate children at bus stands, railway stations and toll plazas.
